It was time to try St. Charles again in the nasty weather. I think I was just ready to fish regardless of the conditions. We sat out in the nasty weather for a few hours for a few reds and a drum. It wasn't as productive as it was last year in the same conditions. |

I had 5 guys from all over the world today. Most of them had never fished before. We were on a tight time schedule as they had morning and evening plans. We had about 3 hours on the water and boxed some decent trout and a sheepshead. |

It looked like a good mornng to hit my favorite island and it payed off again. Doyle Pearson is a good friend of mine and we dragged another guide out with us also. We limited out and had a few drum to go with our reds. |

My favorite client Dixie came out today and brought her freind Ms. Kitty (Dawn). It was blowing really hard from the south, but they wanted to go anyways. Dixie's husband stayed home and it was a mistake. We found a few fish here and there until we tried to hide from the wind. As soon as we dropped anchor, it was on. Dawn was doing flips in the front of the boat while Dixie's rod looked like a horseshoe. They were all nice FAT redfish. We limited out and caught a few more for good measure before heading in. These girls handled the wind better than most men I fish with!! Way to go Dixie! |
