7-25-07 Limits of BIG Trout from Cedar Bayou |

Ediide and company were ready to go this morning. The skies were dark with the promise of rain and the occasional flash of lighting covered the sky. When I asked them if they wanted to go, they said YES. These are my kind of fishermen. When other groups are cancelling trips, we go for broke. My best guess gave us 4 hours before the hard storm hit so we ran out at full speed. Our first anchor brought in 14 nice trout and the skies were getting darker. Our next anchor was on 22-24 inch trout and time was ticking away. We had 27 BIG trout when I told them they had 5 minutes to get the last 3. And they did just that. 3 casts and 3 more fat trout. As soon as we pulled up to the cleaning station, it started to pour down. We rolled the dice today and came up big. It was better than Vegas. I love fishermen who really WANT to catch big fish and are willing to go after them.
