I had a great time on the water today with Connie and Matt Kuamoto. Matt is headed off to West Point in the fall and he wanted to go fishing before he goes. We tried to hit San Antonio Bay, but it was too rough. Will the wind ever stop??? We scratched out a few fish on second chain and a few more in Mesquite Bay. It was just about time to go home, but we found a small patch of shell and had to do one more drift over it. As soon as we got close to it, all 3 rods went of. It was a school of redfish and just in time. It was a sight watching them try to handle all of these fish. We landed all 3 and it was a great way to end the day. I wish Matt the best at West Point!!!!
