Well, I said November is one of my favorite months to fish and it didn't let me down this year! Lots and lots of nice black drum and some great reds too. The water is cooler and the trash fish have left. Shrimp is the best bait and everything is eating it. Most days, I have had my limits of reds and black drum. The best day this month was 20 drum and 12 reds by 11:00. I actually had enough time to catch double limits for my clients and clean 32 big fish, and then make it to my deer blind by 3:00 to hunt. I love South Texas! It has everything a sportsman can want. The drum bite is awesome and the reds are still eating pretty steady.
